Impresa Lakehouse supports continuous, asynchronous, real-time, or batched modes of data ingestion through various sources to handle large volumes and a variety of data, including real-time streaming feeds.

- Delimited Files -All supported file formats.
- Support graph file formats.
- File Extracts -All supported file formats (txt, CSV, tsv, binary, etc).
- Tables populated in RDBMS DB Link - Tabular – Specified RDBMS.
- Data Access through API -XML / JSON / BSON (e.g. Data access from No-SQL DB).
- API providing file access path - Document/file links.
- Direct Links - Abstract to end-user – Applications will access the Data Warehouse directly.

In Impresa Insights, the object storage is designed to handle large-scale data storage efficiently as part of its data processing architecture. The Data Lake utilizes either HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System) or MinIO as the primary storage system, offering robust object storage capabilities. This allows the platform to manage vast amounts of raw data, enabling scalable storage and retrieval while supporting diverse data formats.
The Data Warehouse uses StarRocks to store transformed data. The data is organized in Star Schema form, which is optimized for analytics and querying. This structure ensures that data, after transformation, is stored in models that support faster access and insightful analysis, playing a crucial role in the overall data pipeline of Impresa Insights.
Metadata & Governance: Impresa offers tools to track data lineage, audit, and log events related to data processing. The company can periodically analyze and view reports on these log and event analyses. Users can assess data quality through data profiling, which ensures the integrity of data at the source, the correctness and validity of data post-transformation, and the accuracy of data at the time of access.
Customer data will be securely managed, with access strictly controlled to ensure that only authorized individuals can view it. Data movement will be protected using encryption, and the reporting layer will incorporate Power BI security measures. Additionally, a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategy will be implemented to safeguard sensitive information.
Data Management: The system will efficiently manage data throughout its lifecycle—from ingestion to retirement. This includes processes such as retention, archiving, replication, compression, encryption/decryption, backup, and purging. There will also be provisions for comprehensive data management to ensure its security and integrity at all stages.

Visualization
Power BI is used as a visualization tool here which pulls data from the Data Mart layer of Impresa Insights and shows them on reports and dashboards.
